APPLYING TO MJDS
OUR APPLICATION PROCESS IS AS SIMPLE AS 1-2-3 (AND 4)!

Apply
If your child is less than 3.5 years of age, we will ask you to complete an application form.
If your child will be 3.5 years of age or older on the first day of the new school year, you will be asked to complete an application form, to submit digital copies of school records and to schedule an in class visit for your child. Children nearing or over the age of 6 are expected to visit for a day.

Enrol
Once we have reviewed your application and we mutually agree that MJDS is the right fit for your family, you will receive an enrollment form which must be accompanied by a non-refundable $750 tuition deposit. In cases where we do not have space for your child, we will put your child on a waiting list.

We look forward to greeting your family. You will be invited to join in all school-wide festivities and events for the remainder of the current school year.
AFFORDABLE TUITION
As a non-profit, self-funded school, our tuition fees allow us to provide your children with an excellent Montessori and Jewish education. Tuition levels are based on our assessment of next year’s projected enrollment and overall operating costs. MJDS receives no tuition or bursary assistance from the government or UJA. Despite that, we do have a limited self-funded tuition subsidy program.
Keep in mind that a percentage of MJDS’s tuition fees are considered a charitable donation. There are also times during the day in which children are supervised (e.g. recess and lunch) which are eligible for a child-care receipt. The true cost of tuition will be lower than the face-value amount that you pay during the year. The true cost depends on your individual tax situation, and the level of tuition assistance that you receive.
