The Titleman Family

Why did you choose MJDS?

We were looking for a Montessori school to send our first son. I was touring several schools while Logan was only 7 months old, and MJDS just felt “right”. From the positive feedback to the warm atmosphere, it seemed like the right place for our family.

What do you love most about MJDS?

I love the warmth of the administration and teachers, and how much they care about our children.

What is one word that best describes the school? Why?

Caring - above all else, there is a sense of caring among everyone in the school community for each other, especially for the well-being, betterment and success of our children.

In what ways have you seen your child/ren grow and develop as a result of their experience at MJDS?

My children have always considered MJDS a home. It is their safe and warm place to flourish and experiment with who they are and are becoming - academically, emotionally, interpersonally, etc.

Describe how a Montessori approach to education helps your child/ren learn

Montessori pedagogy allows children to take control of their own development. They can choose what they want to work with and when, while being guided by their Montessori and Judaic guides seamlessly.

What would you say to another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at MJDS?

Visit the school and classrooms and speak with the children and observe them in their environment. If you still have questions, then definitely speak to the staff and other parents. Everything about MJDS becomes clear with the joy and peace felt by the children in their special place.
